American Metal:
I got the Rockfather I with the regualar duty springs. Don't have a front ARB Bumber or a winch, and I don't plan on getting either.
KJ04:
I had installed the shocks with the wrong sleeves, because they were the only ones that came close to fitting right out of the box. They made a ton of noise, because they were too loose, so I jacked up the jeep, and tightened the bolts of the shock mounts until the shock mounts bent in to fit. They still made a doo doo load of noise, because the sleeves weren't the right diameter to fit snugly over the shock mount bolts. It was very difficult to bend the shock mounts back out to fit the original shocks, but was worth the effort to get the squeeking and rattling to go away. Considering all the problems I went through, I figured I'd save everyone else some time, and tell them to do the research and get shocks that will fit, right out of the box.
I've since heard that the long sleeve needs to be cut to fit, but when I slid it over the top shock mount bolt, it was looser than the ones I had used. If I need shocks with more travel, I'll take it to Monroe or some other shock specialist, and let them worry about cutting sleeves, and getting the diameter and travel length correct.
Camper:
The Rockfather I lift that I got came with 2 new OME front coil springs and 2 front strut spacers (they were really thin, like 3/8"), 2 rear poly coil spacers, and 2 DT shocks. the suggested retail price is $369 plus shipping and handling. I choose the rockfather lift, because I had already purchased the OTT lift that they make, but had heard so many bad reviews of it, that I exchanged it for the Combo-lift. I had waited over 3 months for them to ship the combo lift, before they told me that daystar isn't making the front poly coil spacers anymore. They talked me into the Rockfather lift; I would have prefered to have one coil spring up front, rather than the coil spring plus the poly coil spacer anyway. If Daystar has started making the front puc-spacers again, and you're on a budget, get the front combo-lift. You'll save like $150 for pretty much the same thing.
