And it was about 2" difference. After I put my 1.5" front/2" rear Daystar spacer lift on, I parked next to a pre-lowered 02 KJ and was about the same height. Okay, maybe I was a tiny bit taller, but I have newer suspension components that hadn't sagged as much. As far as I understand it, they lowered the stock height just by dropping the height of the stock springs. Same spring rate, same everything else, just lower height. |

just wanted to see if there was a cheap way to get more lift? stock coil springs would cost as much as OMEs would and if you think you could get used ones do you really want 6 year old springs ? they would be no higher than what you have there is no cheap way , just the right way to lift Tom |

Its been said that KK clevis forks can get you 2-inches of lift. Wouldn't have to take apart the coils or put new struts. If I didn't already have a lift, I would try this method. For the rear you can get OME springs or put spacers. You will need shocks. I recommend Ranchos (RSX17004). |

I thought the Pre-lowered KJ's were only about 3/4 of inch higher? No matter what those springs can't be bought new. you might as well get some OME Mediums if you just want a little lift. ScarletBegonias went that route so if you have questions..... |

3/4" was the change in ride height. This was done to "improve" stability Maybe you parked next to another lifted Liberty? If you want a cheap lift - get the OME springs |

That is entirely possible. I asked the woman who was driving it about the height and she said she bought it used and hadn't done anything to it. She commented that it was an 02 and I assumed....I know, I know. It was probably lifted before she got it. |
