Okay guys,

I just ordered a few parts for my swmpthg I got moog lower ball joints and I also ordered new wheels and tires. I got 5 Crager wheels with 5 32inch 11.50 BFG's. I think im going to put the spacers back in for now to give me the full lift until I figure out what Ill do further.

Ill post pics as soon as I get eveything in and put on. I think the 32" BFG's are a better choice than those heavy 33" 6ply thorturdies

well I was going to sell it but I just figured I might as well keep it. I came across a few problems but now I know how to address them and more and mroe things are coming out to better our kjs that are lifted. so i thought i would try it again.

For right now I have a 2.5 inch lift and also 2.5 inch strut and coil spacer so a total of about 4.5-5 inch's

Pics will be up tom. for my updated kj

as for the 32 inch bfgs. Great tires much much much better than the thornbirds. I love them. :D

Do you have the cut cv's up front? Do anything to the trilink in the rear like the JBA extension?

I do not have the cut down cvs right now, but i do plan to get them on order soon. As for the rear tri link extension bracket I will refuse to use another poor design like that one, that bracket broke at the badlands on me causing a few problems. I am trying to fab up a diffrent part to address the rear tri link.

I will not get into a will work or will not work but some parts are designed right and will work when used correctlyand as they were designed for, its when you use them out of that area that you have problems, sitting up a proper suspension system is not throwing a lot of different parts together

flame on

So you ran with normal un cut cv's for several years with the 5 inches of lift and never had a problem? It just seems odd because others around here talk about if you lift beyond Frankenlift height and your cv's will explode in short order.

I ran it for about a year up that high with 33's without the cut down cvs. on is going bad now due to a torn boot but the other with boot in tact is fine but I am ordering the cut down cvs..
