Post subject:  Rough Country Dilemma Resolution

Hey everyone Happy thanksgiving and i just wanted to give you a wrap up of what the final outcome of the RC lift kit is.

OK RC finally agreed to refund the cost of the kit and pay for the un-install of the lift kit. This was after having my attorney call them and the technician at the dealership spoke to them. I tell you they werent freindly at all nor did they want to even speak to me about antyhing. Since when i would call i would have to jump through hoops just to get to the person that is in charge. Anyhow they refunded the moeny for the kit and the unistall of the lift kit, good enought from these lazy bums

Now ever since that, the bolts on the IFS all have had to be replaced since the RC kit over extended and put so much pressure on the parts the tech was suprised that nothing broke.

All bolts being replaced, even the big ones on the control arms. 4 times the CV boots have been replaced since there was such an extreme angle on them it just tore it to pieces.

the cars has been aligned 8 times and finally its close to where its supposed to be.

So my recommendation, dont buy anything from RC and definetly do your homework on the lift kit and there history before buying a lift kit.

I know i will do that before i have raised again that is if i even go that route.

take care
Vinni
