pound them for more room to fit bigger tires, I dont think I can explain it vvery well but Im sure someone has a pics of it that will help you more |

Pinch welds are found on unibody vehicles. In other words, our Libertys do not have a frame that is separate from the body. The pinch welds are where two component pieces are welded together. They pound them down because the protrude into the wheel well and when you run bigger tires they will rub on that protrusion. Hope that helps! |

Look behind your front tires. there will be a 1" wide protruding piece in the fender that is the pinch weld. The piece starts at the bottom of the wheel well and runs up about 6 or 7 inches. |

The pinch welds are in the way. We beat them because they are in a stupid spot and they anoy the crap out of us when we try to slapp on bigger boots |
