What lights are you running and (if you have them) can you please post pictures of your lights on the ARB? Also, is there enough room to install lights after the bumper is installed, or is it recommended to install the lights before installing the ARB? THANK YOU! |

i'm running my stock renny fog lights.. and if your adding a winch.. theres room to add them after but it would be TIGHT!! i would strongly recommend wiring them with a disconnect plug prior to installing the bumper.. so then you can just plug them in once the bumper is on. |

So basically for ease of installation, you’re saying that I need to buy my lights now and install them prior to the ARB install, correct? Does anyone know about the lights that ARB sells: (IPF 900XS High Intensity Discharge lights)? ![]() ![]() |

I have PIAAS, I didn't bother with the fogs, but the stock fogs will fit best. ![]() |

For off-roading, do I want fog lights on the bumper and long range lights on the roof? |

with the winch on it will be tight to get into to install the bottom nuts on the lights. Without a winch its no problem of course. Down in the "outback" ![]() |

I know with my KC HID's I had to hack one of the mounting studs to give clearence for my winch, and a shortie 3/4" wrench is a must to tighten them down after aiming. Though I am running about the biggest winch you can fit in a ARB(WARN XP9500). |

I'll probably stick with KC's since that's what I'm familiar with and they seem to be great lighting units. I do like the idea of having both fog lights and long range lights. ![]() |

I mounted my Warn SDB-210's after the Bumper was mounted and winch installed. It really wasn't all that bad, but it didnt have super long studs either. |

For my long range lights, I could do what woodysKJ did: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

The brackets for the plugs were in the hardware package for the ARB They had pieces to install the factory fogs or the plugs if you didn't have the fogs. |

That's right; instead of mounting the fogs to the bracket, you mount the plates. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Diesel, Saved me a post, Thanks. KC 130 watters on the ARB, along with the stock fogs from the grille. Bumper KC's (and stock fogs) are wired with water tight plugs so the bumper can come off without cutting anything, and switched to a relay through activation of the parking lights. KC 150's x 4 on the roof. outside pair is switched through their own relay and seperate switch and all 4 are wired through the Gecko rack (along with the CB coax) with a 1/2 hole (UGH!!!!) drilled in my roof and useable without any other light activation. I can make street lights go off at night when only 2 of the 150's hit the photo eye sensor. Expressway deer love all of them. They freeze in their tracks until I pas them. Better that deer whistles any day. If i see it a big buck, i MIGHT nail it, but most are just does. With regard to wiring AFTER installation. ... even with a m8000 winch it is possible. NOT pleasant but possible. Without winch, much easier. But more better to wire and plug before bumper is on then aim and tighten after bumper install. JMHO So much for saving me a post.... |
