No since you need to use the special diff cover(which houses the shifter) which would not bolt up due to the D30A mounting brackets.

I wouldn't use the Detriot locker in the D30A either,to much stress on the already weak alloy case since you have no control over when it locks and unlocks and from the fact that you can't "unlock" the front diff(it's always spinning).

Basically the only 2 lockers/LSD's that work in the D30A and won't kill it are the Detriot TrueTrac(LSD,a very dang good one also) and the ARB airlocker(since you can unlock/lock when you want it to).

The Detriot locker is a great locker for the rear diff.

Yep the DTT works very well in the front of a KJ,I'd highly recommend it.

does the truetrac help prevent the diff from splitting as easy as it does stock?

It will help but not 100% prevent it.Keeping your foot of the stupid pedal is what prevents blowing the front diff. The good thing about the DTT up front is to fool it into "locking" you need to apply the brakes a little,in turn this will slow you down some keeping your chances of blowing the D30A pretty low.I wheeled the snot out of my KJ with the DTT up front and my front tires, one at a time, saw more air then a 747 and I never blew my diff.
