Does anyone know the maximum winch dimensions that will fit in the 02-04 arb bumper? The winch dimensions of a winch i want are (LxWxH) 21.3" x 6.3" x 8.6". Will this winch fit? thanks. |

To rephrase the question the winch specs are the same length and width as the warn M8000 but the height is 1 inch taller. I believe it will fit because someone i think said the smittybilt xrc 10 fits and it is the exact same dimensions as that. here is the winch. The specs on this thing blow away the warn winch. |

Quote: 12000lb winch
I got the same winch. For the money it cost compared to a 8k warn its worth it. if the winch is not working hard then it wont overheat and will go faster so you can use it more without worrying |

I got my arb bumper today and did some measuring. From what i can tell it looks like the max height is a little over 8" that could fit. This does not look promising for the winch i want. I'm wondering if the 05+ bull bar has a little bit more height in it for a winch to be able to fit the xrc 10. |

i've contacted the winch supplier to see if he can give any more info on his winch. If its just the switch that sticks up 8.6" that could be worked around. |

The winch supplier said the newer models 10 and 12k winches will be coming out Feb 10-12 and they are a lower profile (only 7-3/8" tall). So i may just have to wait until then. The current models may work but you would have to figure out what to do with the clutch handle which would probably stick up to high. |
