Most likely you need new springs to handle the extra weight of the bumper. Don't know what the Skyjacker springs are rated but most folks who put on an ARB go with something like the OME heavy duty springs so they can handle the added weight.

I have a 2004 rocky mountain edition KJ with a Skyjacker 2.5" LIB250 lift and a ARB deluxe bumper. I just put new struts on her thinking this would help out the front because it sags so much but this did nothing. Is there a leveling kit out there for this issue or has anyone else had this problem?

Great, now the forum clock is going wonky again (post above was at 6:40pm, not 5:27pm - go figure).

Dirk from DPG Off Road (316-776-9900) is a great place to order some OME HD coils.

i was talking to marlin about the jba25's i have on the rear of mine with 2 extra upper iso's

with all the weight i have in the back it's crushing my rear springs below the 22 inch mark

from my understanding the jba (skyjacker) coils are pretty much oem rates

the rear coils are 200ish rate coils not sure about the front

More than likely you have the Skyjacker Soft rides which is the same spring rate as stock and Rustys. Worthless when trying to hold up an aftermarket bumper.

If you have the ARB and a winch you can go to the OME 790s with 500 lb spring rate or if you are only running the bumper then the OME 927s which are 400Lb springs
My ARB and front OME 927 springs/Rancho shocks went on within days of one another and now have 99,000 on them and still is up there doing their thing
Front shocks ( struts) do nothing for lifting they only dampen the suspension

x2 i have the 790's in my frankenlift and find it to be the perfect combination. talk to "Hood" he has a great recipe for front end lift with ARB/winch without using the frankenlift components i used. (this is of course if you have a winch.. or planning on adding a winch soon. otherwise the 790 coils will be VERY harsh)

Yea its the soft ride suspension, im very new to my liberty so if i get heavier duty springs can i keep my same struts? or will i need new springs and struts for the front end to work properly?

If they installed longer shocks with the lift and you got something to match then you should be OK, but if they were an OEM length and you replaced them with comparable units then you'll most likely have problems down the road. Post up what you put on the Jeep and I'm sure someone can verify if they will work or not.

EDIT: stoopid forum/server clock :?

What struts did you just install on the front? Brand etc.

OK, those are the same units that ship with the lift kit so I would say you'll be fine. Just need some stronger springs for the bumper.

So if I order a set of 790's since I have a arb and winch I can just use my skyjacker struts?

Yeah they should be fine unless they are worn out.

But the Skyjacker struts are different than the regular stock or OME/Rancho aren't they? They have a different piece at the bottom . Have to see a picture to see if they would or not

LIB250K Lift kit for Libertys
You're right Tom. Didn't look real close at the assemblies since I figured they were all pretty much the same but it looks like the Skyjacker struts are installed with the housing on top and the piston arm on the bottom (with no rubber isolator). But if the spring coils are the same diameter would it make any difference? The length of the springs should be similar since they both provide lift without an additional spacer.
