I just received all the parts for my lift, Daystar KJ9115 and... Front RS999764 Front Rancho struts plus RS999248 Rear Rancho, these are air regulated struts, I had the compressor stored for this installation, tomorow I will start the installation of the struts and lift kit, then vacation and then I will work on the compressor install. oooo, I saw that on Al's website, its a pretty sweet setup and its not as expensive as I though it would be. You can even get a wireless setup to control the shocks. Make sure you post pics of the install and how you run all the air lines and such! Let us know how it works out! |

Yes, you can control how hard is the ride. I will take a few shots as I already has the compressor installed on the jeep waiting for the strut to arrive, took more than a month. |

After a long day the kit is in place, the Daystar is not designed to work with the rancho 9000XL series, there is a 5mm diference, so I had to make the spacer inside channel grow by 5mm, the strut is wider than the original from the liberty, and on the CRD on full extension the base of the strut could contact the boot of the CV because of tha longer strut, I had no time to conect the air supply to the struts, everything else went as planned and the kit is installed but I'm exhausted.. so good night. |

It's behind the battery, behind the airbox I have the ARB compressor, I can't take a shot because I'm camping in front of the pacific ocean, without computer only the blackberry. I make the trip yesterday front in 7 and rear in 9, the jeep was full and the camping trailer full too, 100 lt of water and all the camping gear and the ride was sooo good no bottoming and controlled, now unloaded I'm at 4 f&r and it's a soft ride on sand. |

After more than a week with the lift and shocks installed, it is so good, the adjust for the shock gives you the freedom to dial how you want the jeep respond to the terrain, it's not hard to change the dials manually, but with the compressor installed you can change it on the fly, so I will be working to finish conecting fittings to the shocks, I the process of install the rear pucks i managed to pinch the air supply for the rear ARB locker, so I had to fix it in the sand, not very hard but I almost loose in the sand the little brass ring that goes in the air line. This is the amount of flex you can get from the rancho 999248 and the Daystar spacers on the rear:
