How worried should I be about my brake lines when I install a OME HD lift on my 07. I remember reading on here somewhere that they are pretty tight. Really don't want to pony up for the SS kit. I believe it is 250+ (wanna save that money for a rock moniter).

All you need is a brakeline extension

Make your own, very simple to do and way cheaper. You will need to make 2 for your '07,both rear brake lines on the L/R side needs to be extended.

Diesel can post pics of his brake line extensions we made for his Frankinlift.

This would be great to know, I also don't not want to spend the money on SS line but think it is time to extend them somehow.

loosvelt, it looks like KJ 2006 beat me to it. The bracket is nothing more than 3" X 2" square tubing that Rock Lizard fabricated for me.

You forgot one since the '06-'07 KJ's have 2 brake lines back there.

We made 2 brake line extensions, both on the R/R side when we installed your FrankinLift.

Do you have a picture of the square tubing and what it looks like connected to the brake line? A picture speaks a thousand words.

Here are the photos that tjkj2002 is talking about. Both brake line extension brackets are on the rear driver side.

Wow, that is alot more simplistic then I would have imagined. Thanks. How much more likely is that to get snagged on something or ripped off?

There is no need to worry about snagging, the extension brackets are tucked high enough that it shouldn't be a problem, or should I say no more exposed than where the factory had them mounted. Either way, you don't want banjo strings for brake lines.

i only have the one that i showed.. and as you can see that's at almost full flex and it's not bangoed... i've never heard of anyone using a 2nd brake line relocation bracket... but i guess if i lose my back brakes someday i'll know what needs done!
