You could do a OME medium duty spring set and get around 1" of lift. That wouldn't be too much over the stock ride height.

It's something that I have been thinking of doing for some time now.

Wouldn't the OME light duty springs be the closest to stock height? I believe even they have a little bit higher spring rate than stock.

What is the difference between a 926 and a 927 OME coil?

Spring Rates:

925 Light Load: 350 lbs
926 Medium Load: 375 lbs
927 Heavy Load / CRD Medium: 400 lbs
790 CRD Heavy Load: 500 lbs

Just for comparison:
Stock/Rustys: 310 lbs

That was the question in the FAQ, and the list of spring rates was the answer to it. (not my words)

now I know you cant mix HD with the daystar lift bc it would be too much, and sleeve84028 said that the MD would give me about an 1in. So would that work?

I got to thinkin the other day about my daystar lift and how the stock coils start to wear out after a while.

BUT is there anyone who makes coils with a higher rate that replace your stock ones without the lift like OME?

Why not just pack your Daystar up, send it back for a refund, and get 2 front OME 927's, 2 rear OME 948's, 2 front Rancho 17505's, and 2 rear Rancho 17404's.
After you figure up all the cost involved to do a spacer lift properly , it's only a couple hundred dollars more to do a full coil lift and be done with it.

I mean its all good bc I KNOW for a fact and a half that everyone on here knows 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000X more than I do about what will and what wont work.

But I gotta get it in my head so I can have as much knowledge as you Tom

nope not really, if its the front you can get some CRD coils but for the rear your outta luck, I would just upgrade it all to OME HD.

you can custom order a set from kings coils such as our aussie friend did. otherwise, just go ahead and get the ome's. one and done .

haha no point in getting the King Coils, they will cost you more than the OME coils will and shipping is crazy high on them

After you figure up all the cost involved to do a spacer lift properly , it's only a couple hundred dollars more to do a full coil lift and be done with it.

its about the same as walking into a Jeep club meeting and asking about a Rav 4 , most all of us knows what works best for the money so thats why you hear it all the time we are all very sorry for pounding things into your head!

FYI - all OME springs are the same lengths - even CRU Stu's customs are the same length 1.5" longer than stock (properly I think it's 40mm) any difference in final height is how much they compress from the weight if you want it shorter - get light/med and put on an ARB

Ok just remembered that for some reason everything I know is from when I was young and dumb and did stupid things instead of listening to the older guys
