Well the stock 16'' factory rims on the libertys hold up to a 265/75/16 tire on them. Or do i need to buy new rims for that tire stize

they will hold up.. but you'll need 1.25in wheel spacers (i'd suggest spidertrax spacers)... or they will rub on the sway bar at full lock turning.

X2, but I would recommend just buying new wheels like the Cragar Soft 8, they wont cost too much more than wheel spacers and they will look better and be safer.

What would be the widest and tallest tire that you could run on the factory 16” and 17” rims without rubbing on the sway bar? Maybe 245’s?

something small, I had 245/75 and they would rub on the sway bar at full lock, not too bad, you could live with it if you didnt make sharp turns but your better off just getting it fixed and not have to worry about it

I'm going to run a few tire set-ups. I already have my Cragar 15X7's, but I also want to run a highway tire on the Factory 17X7 rims. I guess I will stick with a tall 235.

With 235/85R16 you can still use stock wheels and no spacers. You will still get some rub at full lock but it is not a big deal since you do not really need full lock, close to it still works fine.
