How do I know if I have the d35 or the chrysler 8.25"? Also, has anyone swapped there d35 for something stronger? A friend of myne with a TJ is doing a swap on his because he claims the d35 is a very weak axle... Whats the truth to this? |

Walk to the rear bumper, bend over and look at your axle.

And yes the 8.25 is much stronger than the D35. It's close to a D44 in strength. |
