Renny -> Stock Bumper + Winch?? Winch In Winter??

I doubt I will be getting custom bumpers so, Ive been thinking about getting a winch. I have an 03 renny and I thought I seen someone where with the stock bumper and a winch. There is a open space in between the front two tow hooks.
Has it been done? & how? I'd like some instructions :twisted:

Do you have any other info on what your base plate looks like?

Anyone here using the Detour backbone???? What is it like in the winter?? Freezing?? Rust?

no issues what so ever with the backbone and cold temps

I was looking at the install. I am correct to assume that the backbone replaces the front tow hook?

I believe so, but you dont need them with Detours bc it have clevis mounts.
