Bedliner on the bottom works great for minor dents and dings and excellent for your typical trail pin striping. It even does a good job at hiding the the big stupid dent I have in my rear driver side door from that boulder in Moab...

I like the look on a lot of the TJ's that use the dimond plate steel on the panels below the door. I know the door of the liberty goes all the way down, but what about putting the steel on the door? Would that provide any protection at all? I wonder what it would look like (hint hint at you photoshop guys lol)? |

what about rails that come out and up a bit? have you considered that? Not sure who has pics but I've seen a few here and they are nice. It would look better than panels on the bottom (I think) ... another option would be bed liner on the bottom of your door to help protect it a little, but no good for rocks .... |

I already have the mopar rails, and will be upgrading to better ones on the fall, I like the tube style that I have so will need something like that only stronger... I haven't thought about bed liner on the bottom half, how much protection does that actually provide anyways? |

bedliner works great but it only protects it from scratches, you can still mess up your door or get dents in it. |

That was my thought, where bed liner would go a good job at that, steel would add a extra layer to prevent it from denting. |

if you look at hood297's (i think thats it) he has sliders that come up the side of the rocker panel.. i think he said they were custom made but very cool, and functional |

I thought the doors went all the way down, didn't ever notice a rockerpanel right below the door... I like that idea though, combined with some line-x like you guys are suggesting it might surpass my original idea
