Got a gash in my muffler so it's time for a replacement. Thinking about grabbing a Super 44 Flowmaster http://cache.autoanything.com/images/pr ... uffler.jpg Is anyone using this muffler?, If so which part# did you use?, I know I need 2.5" inlet 2.5 outlet, but which offset? If anyone has a throaty muffler that can take a beating other than the Super 44 I would certainly be interested in hearing about it as well. |

I have the Super 44 off road and love it. Don't know the part # but it is 2.5" in and out. Center in and I think the out offset doesn't really matter as long as it isn't center because the muffler can be flipped top to bottom |

What's the stock exhaust diameter? Is it 2.5" in and out? Or is that aftermarket stuff? |

there is a choke point in the stock exhaust, i don't remember if it's before or after the cat |

Thanks for all the feedback guys, sounds like nobody has anything bad to say about it so I am going ahead with the purchase. Thanks again. If anyone did the install themselves, did you run into any bumps along the way?, anything I should watch for? any tricks? |
