My 5mm wheel spacers cost me about $24 a pair, not really that much. I think the bolt on spacers are a bit more exy. Happy unload mine if that's what your after as I'm not going to use them.

I have the means of having wheel spacers made just like the ones sold online which I think are way too expensive because of our dollar, brokerage and shipping. Has anybody here ever made any? My uncle works with aluminum and saw the pics of the spacers and can replicate them. If someone can send me one I can have a set(4) made for myself and an extra 2 for yourself as a token of my appreciation plus your original back of course. I will pay the shipping and material Thanks! |

what do you need one for? they are 1.25" thick and have holes spaced out 5x4.5 and then they have 1/2x20 grade 8 or some use metric studs that stick out and are spaced out 5x4.5 also |

just found some on ebay $50 for a pair. If no one can send me one I'll just order a pair. I want one so my uncle can get the exact measurements of the outside and inside diameter of the cut-out...unless you know the size of the center hole..... 
The one's on ebay are 1.50" thick if anyone wants to know. |

Do yourself a favor and DON'T make any of the above types. Take a look at Spider Trax and copy them. I can send you one if your uncle can duplicate how the center hole is made. But be sure and get a really good picture to show him first. Terry |

tell ya somethin, ya gotta be real careful with what you attach to your tires rim wise, and what you attach to your rim for example keystone used to make these cragar style mags, as a matter of fact they looked just like certain crag models, except they were 2 piece rims hit a shallow pothole (less than 3/4ths of an inch) at 90mph in the middle of a powered slide rim separated, drove through a D-SLAM and flipped it end over end through a corn field just be careful with what you depend on to keep your wheels and tires securely attached to your vehicle, ie: listen to Fulltimer |

If I HAD TO RUN spacers I would only use Spidertrax, but really not the best setup, plus nothing against your uncle but do you want homemade spacers between you and the road? Spidertrax has years of experience in making these and exact measurements on everything But ...........it's your KJ and life |

But ...........it's your KJ and life X2, how do you plan on getting the studs in the spacers? are you going to press them in? I think it would be best just to buy some new wheels of bite the bullet and buy the wheel spacers that we all know are good. |

http://www.spidertrax.com/2007-Up-JK-Wrangler-Unlimited the kind like on the ebay link, are the type more commonly used with vehicles that have locking hubs and what not i can't find a pic of one that's specifically for the KJ, the 07 up jk wrangler unlimited version in the ADAPTER model looks identical to the same picture the flat spacers are shown as CJ models |

Be wary of duplicating the SpiderTrax spacers,I believe they are patented and could be in a world of doo-doo if they find out or you sell any knockoffs.Also check your local laws,many places wheel spacers are illegal. |

they are illegal in PA 
but if you are interested i have 4 spidertrax spacers for sale for $135 plus whatever shipping is to where you are.. |

even if you have the equipment to mill aluminum and put in your own pem studs don't. Too many things can go wrong - Do it right and get the spidertrax if you really want spacers. |

hahaha my uncle doesn't work in his backyard It's a bona fide aluminum manufacturing place where they make stuff like that all the time and much more complex. Pressing studs in 6061T6 aluminum is child's play for them but thanks for the concerns....everything noted and appreciated.

ok, dumb question, why use these Spidertrax spacers, is it for clearance to prevent rubbing issues, or just for looks, and presumed 'stability' they add? we run an OME lift, factory 6 spoke aluminum wheels, Firestone Destinations, 245/75-16 and have no rubbing issues. |

I used the spidertrax as at full turn the MTs were rubbing something fierce. |
