I'm not affiliated with AJs Offroad Armor in any way. Nor am I a vendor (wish I was, my KJ would look and wheel better). But, if anyone thinks this should be in the vendor section, please feel free to move it. I just wanted to pass on some info that I can't take advantage of (because I'm in the flat part of the country that waves hit). I sent AJ an email inquiring about the availability of SuperRails (roundtube rails) for the KJ and he sent this email back to me... Quote: The only thing I'm waiting on to go into full production of rockrails
is a Liberty to do the final test fitting on. The fixture is made and that is all I have left to do. You'd think that would be easy but apparantly I can't find a soul nearby that wants a set of rockrails or even just to test fit. I've even talked to the dealership with no luck. I have a few people I've contacted who hopefully I can work something out with, but in the meantime if you know of anyone within driving distance of eastern Iowa with a KJ who wants rockrails....send them my way. I'll sell them a set for half price just for letting me test fit them and make any necessary tweaks to the fixture. Thanks! AJ Never thought I'd say it, but I wish I lived in Eastern Iowa. If anyone's in that flat part of the country and wants to take him up on the offer, they're at http://www.ajsoffroadarmor.com and his email address is aj@ajsoffroadarmor.com. |

I am currently in communication with AJ about this (he sent me a similar reply yesterday). I am about 150 miles from him so I may end up being a tester if we can work out the logistics! |

I got the same response. I'm not sure what year he actually did have the fit for, but I I'm sure his tweaks have to do with that clunky piece of trim on the later models. Waddy-you have an 02 like me. You should make the drive for a fit!! I lived outside of Peoria for a while....150 miles in the midwest is the average drive to the grocery store, aint it? ![]() |

I think a few of us from L.O.S.T. Midwest are going to head down there after new years and provide him witrh at least an '04 and an '05 Renny so that he can confirm fitment for both body styles. I got a quick and enthusiastic response from him today. He seems like a really good guy. I'm thinking maybe we have an All-J Products for the midwest. I've always been jealous of the way the west guys have that resource at thier fingertips. |

I'm going down there after NewYears for my Super Rails! Yes my KJ is an '02 (pre-lowered). AJ has been very good communicating with me and I'm thrilled to find a manufacturer here in the upper Midwest. I'll definately get back to you all once they're on the jeep. Stoked! |

I wish I could join you guys! Lamont, IA is gonna be a KJ hotbed in Jan!! I'm jealous of the resources west of here too. Wait a second...everything is west of here. ![]() Well, my friend just recently moved to ChiTown. Maybe I'll come up for a visit next year. ![]() I asked about prices and AJ said... Quote: tentative pricing on the KJ rockrails will be 3/16" Standard rails $175, the 3/16" SuperRails $225
Can't believe you are going to get rockrails for less than $90!! Post some picts ASAP!! |

Is this still on or did I miss out on the fun. I have stock bb's but if I could be a lab rat I'm down and I don't think that would be that far of a drive for me. Let me know if I'm too late. Thanks Parakeet |

Shoot AJ an email Parakeet! No one's going over there until Jan anyway. I think he'd be glad to have another test mule. He needs a mule for bumpers too! |
