| Post subject: | Sudden loss of 5-6Mpg.Oil Light... Need Help... Beer No Help |
I have done nothing but change the plugs (NGK Iridium Plugs) in the last month it runs and idles fine but its just mowing through Gas in the last week, Also oddly enough it has started turning the Oil light on after sitting 5-6 Hours, If I turn the key off and turn the Liberty back on it goes out if I don't it will stay on until I restart. Anyone have this issue? Ideas on what it might be? |

But would/Could the sensor dying cause the Fuel Issue? I also am Getting No Codes, and have had it on a Genesis code Reader. |

Why would I Replace New NGK Plugs? Has anyone had problems with NGK Iridium plugs or is that your personal Preference? NGK is my Choice I've had Bosch plugs come as flat out garbage many times. I changed out the PCV today it was cracked open at the Elbow, Same drill after work tho Oil light, and no Code. |

make sure the plugs you put in are all working, maybe you dropped one or something, also make sure they are all connected to the coil properly, i know it doesnt make alot of sense why that would change your oil pressure, but if the plugs are the only thing you changed, thats where i would start... |

any of the new plugs get cross threaded? not sure if this would affect oil pressure but just a thought. BTW, I am running the NGK Iridiums with no problems yet and no increase in performance either. Just threw money away I could have saved for something else. As soon as it warms up I am going to something more reasonable, possible some Autolites. |

It's at the Stealership They are replacing My Pressure sensor, Fog light wiring Harness (It melted down last night), checkin' Out the Transmission that also stopped going into OD last night, and also looking into a weird Vibration it developed at the same time the Tranny started messing up. I love Warranty, all this happened on my drive home from working on my buddies YJ, I think the KJ got a little jealous of the lift and 31's and took a doo doo. |

yikes, let us know how those repairs turn out, sounds like you were developing a short that was affecting more than just the harness for your fogs |

I got the Little Red Devil back today. There was alot replaced most of the wiring Harness, The computer for the gauges, The Gauge cluster, Fuse block(Dash and Under hood). Tean Computer,Engine Computer, Dealer says he's never seen one so F'd in the electrical dept. Added bonus is they didn't find the cause or Definite cause anyway. Also Upper ball Joints, Passenger side CV shaft, and Wheel bearing where replaced. They where my vibration that came about oddly enough when it took an Electrical doo doo lol. |

| Post subject: | oil weight |
I had some oil light problems at idle recently. I had just changed my oil, and it started. I normally run 5w30 in the winter and 10w30 in the summer. I figured spring was coming and I could get away with 10w30 for this change. False. It dropped below zero (F) for a few days last week, and with the 10w30, the oil light would come on every time the tach dropped below 700rpm. The past couple of days, it is back in the 40's and the oil light is gone. If you are in a cold climate, and the new sensor doesn't work, don't overlook lighter oil. |

5w30 is what the Dealership Recommends. Mobil 1 5w30 Full synthetic is what I run. Sorry all you Amsoil nuts, but Amsoil killed my snowmobile and now I don't trust it. |
