Hi,
I would like o put some lightforce 140's on my liberty.
Does anyone have any experience with them?
I would like to wire them into the high beams so that once I have switched them on, if I need to dip my lights I only have to dip the high beam stalk and it will lower my normal head lights and the new 140's. Does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks in advance.

You will have to tie into the power going to one highbeam with a wire that will travel back to the switch you have in mind then control the coil of a relay (low current draw here). The contact of that relay has to be sized to carry the current draw the 140's will draw or you will weld the relay contacts closed. Look into the wiring diagrams for your model year and see if there is a fuse in the fusebox that is hot only when the highbeams are ON. If there is one, you can use a fuse adapter there to capture the + 12vdc whenever the highbeams are on. Size the wire going from your battery to the 140's large enough to carry the current they draw and make sure you install a fuse inline to protect the wire (don't want a fire).
