Post subject:  Check Engine Light on after lift

I have a 2002 Liberty Limited, and i bought the daystar 2.5" lift for it. well i spent 2 days installing the lift, went and got the goodyear wrangler mt/r 245/75/R16s mounted. Now my check engine light is on. Any ideas?


btw...where do i find my Lost number?

Check the codes and see whats going on.

If its for the evap check all the evap hoses beside of the battery. Also, make sure you hooked the battery temp sensor back up.

Hard to tell without reading the codes though.

Happened to me, I didn't plug one of the harnesses in all the way under the hood. You have to unplug a lot of stuff to get to those bolts.

the battery temp sensor is the one under the battery tray i suppose. and im about positive i hooked everything back up, but ill check it out. thanks for the info....any idea on how i find my lost member number?

also, just gee-whiz knowledge i guess, but there is a cable that is (grounded?) on the front right strut lug on the drivers side. what is that?

That is not a cable, that is the diff breather.

thanks for the info. I bought the haynes manual but it didn't mention what it was. :oops:
