I definitely will be careful with the jeep, I am not planning on speeding. We are planning on renting an atv or rhino too, will take it slow, will next weekend be busy?

Also, does anybody know if flags are required? I don't remember any flags on trucks last time I was out there.

I typically air down to 15 in the sand. I run in part time 4WD. The Liberty is a little piggy though. With the CRD motor and all my gear I am probably heavier than most and it still did good in the dunes out here. Take more than one shovel! Then your passengers can help dig you out too  . I have seen some guys carry a few short planks that they can use for traction if needs be, but I never got stuck.

The key is don't make any sudden moves. No quick starts or stops. Don't turn too sharp too fast. If you air down it will help you "float" on the surface a little better but once the tires start spinning you can dig in quick.

Did you have to put a flag on your jeep?
