Creating my build sheet right now of things to add and ive decided to go with the Mopar Skids and the bumper from Rustys Offroad for 450. Now im looking at lifts and was wondering if anyone was running the Rough Country 3" lift? Or if anyone knows about it (bad/good etc) Not in the budget for a franky so looking for something cheaper but still good. Thanks Guys 8)

Don't go Rough Country go Daystar before you go with a crappy lift as several will tell you.

Also just reread if you are going to get a bumper then you need heavier springs (Like OME 927s ) , spacer lifts will not do that

Now come on Zack , what would I recommend

For the front set of OME Heavy Duty coils (OME 927s) and front Ranchos RSX 17505s
in the rear you could try and find a set of spacers and then rear RSX 17004 shocks

Look around and see if you can find some used HD coils even, some may be coming up

Might as well get OME springs out back too

He'll need shocks either way, and it's gonna be what, $50 to space it? might as well spend the extra $100 and do it right the first time.

Just TBJHO

IF you HAVE to have a cheap spacer lift get Daystar and if your going to add a bumper buy some used CRD coils to support the bumper other wise just start saving and buy the OME HD coils and Ranchos. But I will promise you that if you just suck it up and wait and save for OME you will be much happier in the long run.

That was a question I had, How do I put a heavy duty spring on with my daystar kit to support some extra weight up front?? A set of coils off of a CRD will work? Also, I don't mind my daystar lift. I aint a big techy(yet), but I like my daystar spacers thus far. The one thing I worry abot is premature wear and the stock parts already have several thousand miles on them. At first I just wanted to make my jeep look less like a SORORIETY GIRLS CAR... And how can you pass up a lift for $155!?!?! Was my first lift i have ever done and still managed to get it done in 6 hours with having to customize a set of spring compressors!

In the end its better to do it right the first time and be done. How many on here so far (in the last 5 years that I 've been here) started out with a cheap spacer lift and then went to a full spring lift saying "wish I would of done it in the first place"

You can mix and match but ...why?

I am with Tom 110% do it right the first time with OME, but yes you can do the CRD coils since they have a higher spring rating, and yea the spacer is only $155 but then add your new rear shocks $130 are you replacing the fronts? for a better ride and better handling? if so that bumps it up to $180 then you spent just about the same as you would had you of gotten the OME HD

oh yea I still think I can fit the RRO OTT spacer along with my OME HD coils and get a good 5" lift going.
