Ive had my frankelift for almost 2 years now, and the front left spacer is completely split in half and ready to fall off... is this commmon? is it covered by ALL J's? How does this even happen? |

is this commmon? is it covered by ALL J's? How does this even happen? I actually heard that from one of the guys at ALL j's about 3 years back when I first switch over from my Skyjacker lift, It was an isolated insident. I would give Heather a call and see what she says. |

Happened to me as well after about about a year, right at the first obstacle on Gold Mountain during the Big Bear Crawl '08. All J's covered it under their warranty for me, I would give them a call. My issue turned out being a bad batch from Daystar. |

AllJ's had a issue with some of there spacers falling apart,they have resolved those issues and you should contact them for warranty. |

Hi Guys I live in South Africa (Cape Town) and it has happened to me twice. In both cases Heather supplied me replacement parts free of charge but I had to pay the company to install them for me. The last time AllJ send me 2 different types and the one (I think she referred to it as stock) worked much better. Its been now almost a year and still no problems. Maybe the reason that there is not a lot of other KJ owners complaining is that they havent looked at it yet

hmm thanks for the info, I gave Heather a call and a new one is on the way, unfortunatly I have to pay for the installation. Thanks and hopefully this is a good batch, Kaleb |

Rent/borrow/buy a set of spring compressors (got mine from Advanced Auto for like $35). My buddy Bill and I have found plenty of uses for them working on my KJ and his '94 XJ. Besides that it is just a socket set, something to hold the unit (a vice or second pair of hands), and LOTS of elbow grease.
