The Mopar tranny skid is what I had and failed on a mountain leaving me stranded for hours in a blizzard and hail storm. They're alot cheaper than the good ones though. |

Pretty sure you have to drill holes where none exist now and mount it with a bolt and nut. |

o thats not a big deal ill take care of that when i take to to dino for the lift he will probably just use nut serts and tack them in place |

the holes line up here and there. just find whatever hole you want, then drill holes where there are none. not really a big deal. I freaked out when i first started drilling holes. but now, ive had this jeep apart in so many different places and ways, drilling holes here and there are the least of my worries. |

300 bucks is only about 100 bucks more than the mopar tank skid, and depending on what year KJ ya got the tank skid can be hard to find i personally like the Kilby gas skid which someone has for sale in the sale section by the way |

$200 for the Mopar? Proly from the stealership. For the price of the good skid plate you could almost get a full set shipped from here. Yes I know their not as good but anything's better than nothing. http://jeeppartspeople.com/SearchProduct.asp?Model=Liberty&catid=3354539933449889&year=05&productdesc=Skid+Plates |
