That looks really nice  Make sure they run the O2 sensor wire away from that U-Joint or it's gonna tear the wires in half. Ask me how I know

The Shaft cost $325. I dunno if I got robbed or not... all i know is Chrysler wanted to charge me $450 for the same piece of crap Shaft. so i figured hell yes. I will have to check the O2 wires i know they're close, i didnt even think of them being too close. thanks for the tip. and yes!!! this KJ belongs to Wonder Woman. I just borrow the thing every day. I cant stop messin with the jeep. i have issues. i tore apart the front end and added another clevis ring today. after i added the 2 rear isolators pad jobbies, the rear was too high for my taste. i like the thing more level. so i have a 4 ring clevis lift now. that's pushin it it seems. the springs hit the back wall and dont allow for an easy lower clevis connection, you gotta pry that sumbiscuit into place... too much fun. now i need yet another alignment. Love the MTR's, it's rained for 2 days up here, there's mud ALL over. best part about gettin muddy, is flingin it all over other cars around you on the blacktop after the mud bath. awesome fun. Drive shaft seems to be perfect, no vibration... just had a tune-up, oil change and whatnot, checked all bolts. seems to be a nicely designed DS. :D

4 clevis is nothing ( I know of a KJ with more than that) and I install mine with no prying , just have to know how to do it is all

Slinging mud all over cars  just what our hobby needs someone else yelling about those 4 wheelers throwing mud everywhere, need to knock off as much as possible before you hit the roads

I wonder the same. Does the CV mount to the front diff and the u-joint to the t-case?

Curious as to HOW that u-joint bolts into the T-case though...completely different than the KJ's rear head bolting to the drive flange :?

Where is NCD? I've never heard of it. Looks like a really nice piece.

aye, the spline end goes right into the T-case. The other connection comes off. use the same nut. This set-up is the whole bit and kabottle. torque T-case bolt to 130#. GET A PIPE WRENCH ON THE T-CASE SPLINE/YOKE BEFORE TIGHTENING THE NUT TO 130#... I have had nothing but smooth runnings so far. I will get up to a decent offroad spot real soon and test it out. But ive heard most problems with these converts come from high speeds... vibrations and such,. idk, it seems fine. Adding a U-joint on both ends would be wicked hard. You need a slip in there somewhere.. The front connections is decent. Pull that shaft out and move that sumbich around. it feels solid, a lot of play, 2 joints, you gotta have play between the T-case and the front Diff somewhere i would think, yikes. it would get jarred to pieces. i dunno, im hoping the DS company knows what they're doing. I just put the thing on. ((good point about the mud flinging, I shall resist)) Actually, without a slip, the front DS wouldnt fit. Wouldnt be able to remove or install without a slip. " T-case and front Diff don't move too easily. haha. yet im still a novice and dunno if this even makes sence, so.... yeah. Lots more to learn.
