my new goodie came in today, and first off, I must sa that I'm very impressed with OKoffroad. I ordered it just a few days ago and it arrived about 3 days sooner than it should have even :)

I also emailed them asking about something else to find out if they had it in stock and they emailed me back very quickly, so I'll have to say I'm really impressed with their store

Nice. I wish I wasn't saving for a house right now. Sooo many goodies I'd love to get for my Libby. :(

Which license plate are you relocating? I always find my front plate tearing off on the steep trails.

just the rear plate for now

once I put a steel front bumper on i'm going to put the front plate on one of those springed hinges similar to what they used to use on the rear of older vehicles covering the gas filler

hopefully there will be a winch roller doohickey thingit behind the plate thus making the hinge aspect of it actually useful :)

Which raises the question,
Where can you buy a spring loaded Licence plate mount that will cover a winche's fairlead?

I've looked everywhere and can't find one!! :evil:

All I've found is rotating mounts used for deception ( No need for that, I'm Law abiding and don't speed)

found at http://www.expertoffroad.com/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=2-EO32000

All I had to do was Google "winch license plate bracket".

I particularly like this one;

By the way I have one of those shackle d-links, great idea. I used to use a hitch mounted hook but the recovery strap would slip off of tear a hole in the strap.
