Is there any reason against connecting my extended breathers (Front Diff, Trans, Transfercase, Rear Diff, and 2x fuel) to my air box? I am getting ready to install my snorkel and seal up the air box, so I thought I would make a breather extension panel in the air box. Looking for any feedback, positive or negative on this idea...

Can cause a suction that can draw the fluids out of your trans and diffs, not a good thing. The best is to route all of the breathers together into one hose and run it up the snorkel, make it exit near the top of the snorkel but not in the air flow path.

That was one of my concerns, I'll have to come up with a good place to route them...

route them inside the vehicle behind one of the interior panels like the front kicker panel or right rear cargo area panel

if water gets that high in there you're already in a world of trouble!

I'll route them together then out the old antenna hole, should be perfect place to then run right behind the snorkel...

The snorkel isn't going on for water crossings anyway, but I figure it is very cheap insurance to run the hoses in case the time arises...

Piece of mind one might say...

Pretty sure I don't want them routed inside... with my luck there would be a vacuum because I had the windows down and they'd leak all over my interior

The inside would be fine, I know many of people with them here :)

I am a fan of routing diesel (or any fuel) breathers to the interior of a vehicle my children ride in. It may be a little more work, but I am envisioning a breather snorkel just behind intake snorkel
