I've heard some people take the sensors out of the wheels, put them all in a small sealed PVC pipe tube and pressurize it to 30psi. Keep it in the trunk.

I think it would work with 04 kj's but Im not sure about the 05+ kj's. I believe they have a pick up at each wheel that detects the sensor which is why you do not need to retrain them but the 04's have one main pickup. Im not 100% sure about that though,

Why does he want to remove them?

If the sensors are missing in my 04, all I have to to is hit the C/T button on my EVIC. No beeps or messages until I start up again. Half the time I don't notice the chime, and it clears on it's own in a minute or two.

My 07 Limited will iluminate the dash light and the Evic will display Low tyre pressure.
Can't turn off the dash light, and the Evic will always default back to the warning.

No chiming though.

06 and up have the pickup in each wheel well, so the trick wont work. Maybe four different bottles, lol!
