 Post subject: Clearing Codes

I had to replace an o2 sensor and the check engine light will not go off anyone know how to clear the codes, battery pull does not work.

Which terminal did you disconnect? I do both and then wait a couple seconds.

Some codes will not clear with a battery cable pull.

I took mine around the block and then sat in the driveway and started it 5 times. light went off by itself.

Scan tool, will clear the code, or drive it around for a few miles, computer will re learn and if there are no issues the CEL will go off.
