Hey yall,
Got home today and had coolant leaking very close to my radiator on the front drivers side (Picture 1). Looked up under there and it looks like theres this little plug that should have a hose or something attached to it (Picture 2) (sorry, not very versed in radiators), and a hose hanging down that looks like something broke off of it (Picture 3). Any idea what's causing this? Recently took it to a shop, and they said that my thermostat was probably sticking, as both my upper and lower hose were cold but the engine kept heating up. Bought a new thermostat and was going to replace it today. other than that im baffled. My entire drivers side wheel well and suspension is soaked in coolant, as well as the drivers side of my radiator. Any help?

Assistance is much appreciated! PM me if you'd be able to give me a call to talk me through it and such.
Urgent!! Thanks!

Also, got a better picture of the free-hanging hose (Picture A), and a picture of the upper part of the drivers side radiator tank. its pretty wet with coolant, but I cant seem to find a crack anywhere (Picture B)

Picture B: I pulled back the little plastic shroud in front of the radiator for this one, the blue thing to the left is my flashlight helping light things up:

You have a cracked radiator, must replace. You also have the wrong coolant in there, only HOAT coolant. Those "universal" or "all makes/models" coolants are the wrong coolant for your Jeep.

For that hose that is your front diff breather, just zip tie up next to the battery.

Thanks brotha. What do the universal coolants do to it btw? And what is the diff. breather usually attached to? Thank god for zipties. What about the little spicket-looking thing from Picture 2 above? Whats that? just a radiator drain?

Does anybody make radiators with metal or heavy duty tanks?

Universal coolants are OAT coolants,or dexacool and your cooling system is designed for HOAT coolants.OAT coolants are your waterpump do not agree,IE it east the impeller.

For the diff, well if you don't know :google:

No one makes a better version of the KJ radiator unless you have one custom made, expect it to run about $700+ for a all aluminum custom version.OEM radiator is the best, yeah expensive but when I went through 4 aftermarket radiators in less then 2 years the current OEM has out lasted all 4 aftermarket ones combined.
