Ok i have a 97 TJ SE and I want to lift it and keep 31's on it and get some good flex. I'm willing to spend 350-500$ and I only need 2-3 inches NO MORE. I mainly want a suspension lift not a coil spacer or a body lift. All help is thankfull. |

Although there may be some Wrangler owners here that would be able to help, you might have better luck asking the guys at http://www.ultimatejeep.com/ |

A .75" budget boost is better for what you want. Why spend any more money than is necessary. Other option is an OME 2" lift, but that is going to top out your price range. |

you wont see a big flex improvement with the budget boost. if you want great flex (read as in alot better than stock) then you have to swap comtrol arms. i had really good luck with the rancho rockcrawler 2.5 the control arms allow boatloads of flex but retain the handling characteristics of a near stock tj. plus, there are no heims or "johnny joints" in them to break or wear out. the one downside it that the bushings on either end need to be rebuilt every couple of years and it costs about 50 bucks per arm (200 total) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() the kit as delivered will clear 32s easily. to get to 33s you really need a 1" spacer and a sye kit. of course gearing will be needed to run 33s as well unless you no longer want to use 5th gear |

I'm still pretty new to the TJ/LJ world. but for that price, your not going to get alot in the way of a suspension lift. I went basic and got a 3.5 RE Superflex Lift with OME shocks. http://www.jeepin.com The store there has great deals, it's where I bought my lift kit from. |

If you only want 2-inches you should consider the 2" Budget Boost. I ran mine until I wanted to go extreme with a RE long arm kit. ![]() 2" Budget boost ![]() ![]() 5.5" RE long arm ![]() ![]() |
