Is there a simple way to tell if my 2004 KJ has a prelowered or lowered suspension? I did a search and could not find an answer to this question. |

Most likely lowered. Only 2002 KJ where pre-lowered and a few early 2003s. |

I think it depends on the build date in 02 ? not sure on the month though, I wanna say after june but not 100% sure look on your door sticker it'll say date of manufacture |

Mine's March, and it sits a bit higher than most 05s-6s, but then again I also have 235/70s. not sure if that's a lot of height difference from the stock tires or not. |

Per LimitedLurker's post in an old topic: Quote: KJ was lowered starting April 2, 2002. You have to check the build date on the door to know if you're lowered or not.

built in march shouldn't be lowered. 2 April '02 was a Tuesday, so the previous Friday (29 March) was probably the last day of assembly for pre-lowered libbies. |

Mine came from the factory with 235/75s and prelowered (august '01, it's one of the oldest KJ's). '02's seem to have all the goodies, we sit 3/4" higher, get bigger tires, the beefier transmission, ashtray, lighter, and better seats... |

Yep, and some the D-35 axle I'm happy with the 2002 prototype. |

I'm actually debating on keeping the No-slip. I'm sure I'll change my mind for the ECTED (2 weeks till release) . What I've found is this, The air tempature greatly affects my no-slip. The colder and thicker the fluid, the less pops & bangs. In Hot weather it just plain sucks for mall parking lots. The off road ability is right on target though. |

I have never heard of anybody being real impressed by the Dana 35. Haven't heard any bad things about the chrysler 8 1/4 |
