i have seen them advertised. May be a little spendy (Seth whats the MSRP on this?). It won't replace the Hi-lift (unless you can clamp/winch/jack with it. I'd opt for the Hi-lift first-then go for this. If I had a choice between the two-it'd be Hi-lift all the way. The ARB can be stowed under the rear seat, yes it's heavy but it's also rugged and proven years and trails over. The X-jack is a very interesting idea, on the trail reliability is key. |

I definitely don't think it could ever replace a high lift, but in soft conditions like sand where you may not be able to get a good footing for a high lift, it would be nice. |

They are AWESOME in the sand/snow! They lift 8800 pounds pretty quickly and they have studded grippers in the bottom to hold it in place in the dirt/rocks. They retail for around $225 or less and you can pick one up from any dealer. New Product of the Year at SEMA this year... Made us laugh, as we've been selling them for years now, but hey, we'll take the free advertising! No, I don't think it will replace a Hi-Lift... not as versatile. But they're great if you're in the snow or sand a lot. Drop me a line with any questions. Aloha! |

Thats crazy. I just dont see how the exhaust could pump that up? Wouldnt that hurt the engine or exhaust? |

Seth-about how long would it take to fill one of those using the KJ with a 3.7? I assume it depends on the motor displacement and weight of the vehicle. Is this correct? I do a lot of snow runs and never thought about using it on snow but so far it makes good sense. How much space does one take up when folded up? |

Fills it up FAST.... less than 2 mins. The fold down flat. About 36" foot print. And no, it doesn't hurt your exhaust system. You're still breathing, it's just not going anywhere. It does create minor back pressure... but nothing to fret over. |

My brother in law has been using them for recovery in his towing business for years. The use them to right loaded tractor trailers, among other things. They have some treally big ones, they can cost thousands for some of them. |
