When I engage my tranny in Drive or Reverse after it sits for a while after being warmed up (like coming back from shopping), it makes a weird clutch noise (like the TC would try to lock-up). It does it only once when I first engage. Sometimes, it will do it at a stop light if I have to wait a while. It also seems to vary with temperature. I just had the F37 done hoping that it would go away but it barely had any effect whatsoever. It doesn't shudder at 60mph. The F37 also took care of the engaging delay when cold. If I drive on the highway, no problem. It also seems to hesitate on the 2nd gear at 1500rpm for a fraction of a second. Anybody got an idea or should I call the jeep exorcist??? I'm debating about bringing it back to chrysler since my warranty is expiring in 5000km and as everybody knows, unless you bring it in knowing the problem, the dealership will not act directly on the problem by themselves since they see about one CRD a year. Any tranny expert out there? If not, maybe we should all prey so that the jeep demons would leave my machine alone!!!

Does it ever do it when you're almost at a stop during light braking?

I've had mine Grrr at me a few times, no friggin clue what it was growlin about

I suppose mine was a wheel bearing or the tires rubbing something but i'm totally not confident it wasn't something else

It does like a clutch on a manual transmission not fully disengaged. Usually it's the TC but they changed it 2 weeks ago!!!!
