Opinions welcome. I read that alot of people are using the rusty's. wanted some feedback on the skyjacker. reliability? best(cheapest) place to get it? drivability? ride? I have to commute almost 50 miles a day to work. I don't want to have to deal with banging springs into balljoints or having my teeth rattle loose from a stiff ride. I know, I want my cake and eat it too. Oh well, its my Jeep and thats how i feel. Thanks for the help. |

My experience - great ride, really bad UBJ contact, too much height resulting in CV joint failure. ![]() That being said, others have had good luck with the kit. I had one of the first ones ever produced and maybe they have since changed the kit as to avoid these problems. I'd go with Rusty's though. It's cheaper and pretty much everyone has good experiences with it. |

I have been running the skyjacker for a while now and have been happy with the lift. From what I understand is that all lifts that take your Libby to the near 3 inch height will have upper ball joint contact because of the way the upper control arm is made. The only way to get around this is to buy a set of JeepinAl upper control arms. The Rustys is the best bang for the buck but it will start to sag in the front after a while due to the weaker springs. |

I have the Rusty's coil lift and so far so good, If I ever do go with a new bumper or winch I will deff upgrade the front springs. |
