I had to quote the Magnuson-Moss Act at my dealer yesterday. I think I have them a little scared after taking my Jeep back in to prove they Did NOT replace my lower ball joints like their repair order stated they did.
I am sure DC will love to hear they screwed them for a warranty repair too. Still waiting for resolution to this cluster F though.

What gets me about warrenty repairs is this.. I used to work for a shop that was IBM, HP, Compaq, etc certified for warrenty repairs.. We loved doing it.. It was like money in the bank.. Didn't cost a cent in either parts or labor.. They had this chart for the type of warrenty repair and that is what they would pay you.. I know that dealerships have the same thing.. Why is it so difficult for them to do warrenty repairs.. Not all dealerships are like that.. But alot of them are... It makes the dealership look bad and it makes the product they sell look bad... It just doesnt' happen to Jeep or DC products.. It is pretty much all of them except for higher end stuff like BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, etc...

Ok, I am off my soapbox... :D

Hey JJ, tell them that if they do not want sued for your fear of an impending failure leading to a wreck due to their specific negligence and fraud, that they need to give you a new steel housed Dana 30 and 44 from the grand or Comander!!

Then let the testing begin!!!
