Alright, I was on here a few nights ago and clicked on a link to an Australian forum which had a link to a fab shop who had made an new LCA for a TOY-odor, or something like that.. I wanted to find the link again to have a closer look at what was done... It looked like there were custom UCA's, custom LCA's coil-over shocks, and a custom knuckle. There was a video of the suspension in action and I was intrigued. Does anyone have any idea what I am talking about? It looked more like it was a racer than a rock crawler or anything, but I am interested in looking at what they did to see if it might be applicable to KJ's... Thanks |

I'm contemplating it.... Considering using the existing aftermarket UCA's to begin with... new shock mounting plates, and new LCA's... I thought that the kit came with aftermarket spindles, but it doesn't.... which makes the whole deal a lot easier to design for the KJ. Boiler.... would you be interested in putting your head together with me on this? Mark |

my last car accelerated uncontrollably due to a bad IAC or something or other that I never fixed basically.. it could, and would, accelerate itself to roughly 45-50mph when it acted up, if you didn't ride the brakes to stop it it also had a bad brake booster dooda that i never fixed either, the brake pedal felt like it had a brick under it, and the gas pedal basically had a brick on it drove the car for about 60k miles like that i still don't tail gate and it leaked about half a qt of oil per tank of gas through the sieve called the rear valve cover gasket that couldn't be replaced without lifting the engine forward, and it didn't have the engine forward pivot arm like the similar vehicle 92 grand prix v6 gawd.. car sounded like a wreck now that i type all of that out.. |
