Post subject: | Rusty's Strut Plates or .75" spacer... |
Hey guys. Quick question for y'all. I have an ARB bull bar on my KJ and the weight has killed my front lift on my Skyjacker coils. I went down to my buddy's 4x4 store and he said that if I could find some .75" spacers that would make up for the difference in lost clearance because of the bull bar's weight. I went to Rusty's and found these things I have never seen before called strut plates. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about these and has used them before. It says they give just under .5" of lift for the front of the KJ and it also says they are perfect for a KJ with a winch or bull bar. I really think that going with the spacers would be better, but I was wondering if that would stress the CVs unnecessarily. I need your reccomendations guys...strut plates or spacers? Thanks ![]() |

I just had the .75 spacers installed on mine,no lift though, it did bring the front up to level off mine, but again I'm pretty much stock with the exception of full springs off an 01 KJ, also the ride quality is much improved, they work as far as I'm concerned ![]() |
