ok so, i have an 04 so im assuming i have the 42RLE shoved under there, and from reading its the weaker of the two put on the KJ. just wanted to ask this and see if anything other then it simply being how it is.
i get in a certain situation when im stuck in traffic, which is a lot around DC on 95. anyway, i tap the gas and the rpm's hit about 1.1k. when i let off the gas, the rpm's stick there for say, 3-4 seconds, then the jeep does a little lurch and it goes down again to idle. feels like the tranny, and idk if its just the nature of the beast, or if its something to be paranoid about.
i already have the hunting issues going up hills, or when needing to floor it to pass someone, but this just got me thinking about it too much. not sure how long its been since the fluid has been flushed. with 63k on it i would imagine that would need looking into?
if a flush is in order, and i take it to a shop, is there anything i need to tell them specifically, like fluid to use or the amount? id do it myself but disposing of the stuff is a pain around here.

Seems with the added lift and tires the jeep had no idea when to shift!! Just a thought
