so, i purchased a 03 renegade its been lifted, um my guess is 2.5 inch, because it's not too awefully much higher than stock, but it also has 31X10.5X15 Richard cepeks on it, now i was wondering if you guys could help me id what company made the lift, or if i would be able to tell at all... thanks...

does it look like there's a big puck in the rear suspension?

ok, the more i look at it the more i think it is not lifted, i can tell you that the rear does have skyjacker shocks... and the pinch weld is well pounded down, it was done before i got it but not very good, of i got out my sledge and fixed it.. and this is kinda a sidebar, correct me if i'm wrong, but from some of the other posts i've read it seems that the lifts for a liberty don't actually give you any more suspension travel, is this true or am i misstaken? any ways heres some pictures of it, the pics of the rear suspension are the best i could do with my cell phone... considering my charging cable is mia for my camera.

they'll need a better shot of the front coilovers

i was going to say it was a daystar spacer lift but i don't think that rear puck is a daystar puck which i thought had more of a rounded shape and went on the bottom

my guess is there will be a puck in the front too

The rear definitely is not Daystar or it wold be on the bottom and alot wider.

i didn't recognize/couldn't see the front clevis before, now that i've actually looked closer i'm in agreement with the rest about the RK

Thanks guys... so we're in agreement? it is a RK 2.5 spacer lift??? and no one got back to me on my other question i asked in my post with the pictures, >> it seems that all the lifts for the KJ do not actually increase your suspension travel, is this true? (noticed that on lift kit thread it said for every inch of lift you needed an inch of bumpstop as well) or am i mistaken?

the front pry wont but the rear should if you have extended shocks. also youll get more out of the rear if you disconnect the rear swaybar too.

hhhmmm, so that's kinda crummy... i'mma have to work on that... so no matter what lift you invest in your stuck with roughly 8" of travel up front... that sounds like a bad horror film... i'm going to have to call a couple of my buddies who have a fab shop in NC and see if they can help me out with that...

without going SFA the stock travel is all the CV's can really handle

Work on getting a good lift. Rear springs are almost touching ( stacking) and I bet the fronts are close as well aren't they?
And like Jarhead stated CVs only have so much range of motion in the front, not much else you can do!

even though there is a limitation to travel, if the control army are longer... then the outer edge will travel farther up and down... that's how we got more travel on our frontiers... mine had titan uca's and a titan front diff. with the titan half shafts.... the longer ucas plus longer coilovers helped out bunches in the travel dept. only prob. was it did make the front about 6 inches wider than stock... kinda hard to keep the wheels covered by the fenders... i just used some cheap fender flares... couple other guys used fiberglass kits to widen the whole front end, but i know nothing of those mods...

true that, i'd be interested to see how well that would be contained with the close tolerances we already have, would be similar to running three spacers

but as kjwildman showed us, some aren't afraid of cutting wheels and welders :P
