Post subject:  OME Rear Springs with 2.5" Daystar????

After installing the Daystar 2.5" I notice that the front sits about 1" higher than the rear. My question is: If I put the OME 1.25" springs in the rear, would I encounter any problems as far as vibrations are concerned?

I love the lift, but I want it to level out.

The rear OME gives close to 2-2.5 than 1.25" Also, give it some time to see if it settles. If not I would recommend some rear TJ shim pack or an extra upper spring isolater in the rear.

Are you looking to run OME springs with the Daystar pucks in the rear? I think this might cause problems. I used the Daystar front end with OME HD 948 rear springs. The rear sits about 1" higher than the front w/o any extra weight in the back. With the toolbox, cooler and supplies I carry while wheeling It will set just about level.

Noticed the same bit of sag in the rear after installing 2.5" daystar. I was wondering the same about wether the ome springs instead of daystar in the rear would solve the problem. For starters I am going to add a spring isolator pad to the top of each of the rear springs. The rear on ours is only about 3/8" to 5/8" below the front, so just the isolators may solve the problem.

skipperb,

it looks like the back of your liberty is a little lower than the front also. It can be seen in your top pick (the one not moving.)

after having the 2.5" Daystar installed on my 05 CRD I noticed the same leveling issue. I noticed that after a month, the rear was approximately 0.75" lower than the front.
I have since resolved the problem by removing the 2.5" rear spacer and springs, replacing them with 2.5" Skyjacker springs and shocks. The shocks were prevously stock.

How are you liking the Skyjacker springs? Did it level out like you were hoping for?
