Does anyone have any information on the Trail Ready bumpers? Good, bad? They look really good from what I have seen on their website.

They have been saying they were going to make them again for the last couple years but they keep shelving them. If you want to support someone who I believe will be a good KJ supporter here real soon, Check with Rock Lizard, There is a post here about his upcoming bumpers.

I don't believe I have seen a Jeep with Trail Ready bumpers...even though people say they "were" in production...

I saw ONE at a car show in ohio, and it looked impractical. those big honkin tail light shields do nothing but add weight, and it just didn't look like it was supposed to belong there. I'm saving my money for Rock Lizards rear bumper. (i just haven't decided if i want it w/the swing and jerry can gate yet) He will be the man to go to. These bumpers will save weight compared to trail ready's.

Wally in Texas has their front and rears, they look awesome!

But IMHO Rocklizards will look better... but I am biased because the mockups are on my Jeep

Texas Wally (DarbyWalters) our founder, has them on his KJ. He got them when they first came out.

yeah if i remember didnt he ask for the bumper without the tailight guards? i just remember seeing pictures without them and that would save 50-60lb. id rather give support to a local coloradan though  (rock lizard)

Yes TR is real expensive. I think more than the ARB, but I have seen their stuff sold for same or less $ than ARB's

Yes Wallys is white with Tan bottom in SA

But really, with what Rock Lizard is building, why go anywhere else?

Hey I just figured i'd post this. trailready tells me they had to reengineer the bumpers. not exactly sure y. i didn't ask but they told me they should be shipping the end of feb. i preordered mine. so i have my fingers crossed.. the email i got told me they look sightly differant too.. they said it kinda look like a cross between their zj and the kj.
