So, I have removed everything, put the new spring on, but, the spring looks like it is binding, or pinched because the bottom plate of the shock doesnt have that seat for the spring to sit in. This does not look correct. My thought is that whenever the shop originally installed the Daystar Kit, they just threw away the original.. My question is, do I really need it?

On a side note, when I was pulling the spring, I noticed the LCA bushing was completely shot. I got new ones, and when I tried the remove the old one.. holy cow, that thing was seized in there like no other, I had to airhammer the thing out, and that only took 3.5hrs! I cant get the correct press tool, because chrysler doesnt want to share their toys. Any suggestions before I tackle the driver side bushing?

Thanks for any help guys

Looks like you don't have the bottom isolator in there. Pics are fuzzy but can't see it. Have to have the stock top and bottoms for the spring to sit correctly.
Yes you do need it, or put up with a bunch of banging, clanging, etc

ok, thats what I was thinking. Thanks. You are correct, that is whats missing, I think the original installers just through the originals out. I assume the isolators have to be bought directly from the jeep dealer?
Do you/anyone know of another place I can get the isolators?

Sorry for the fuzzy pic, it was from my phones camera.. :5SHOTS:

Ah don't worry on the fuzzy pictures
You may see if anyone has some stock front isolators from doing a Frankenlift or something, if not dealer item

Thanks Tom. I. Contacted the dealer, they want $32 each.
I appreciate your feedback.

Any suggestions for me before I tackel the driver side bushing? I can't find anything about what to do when they're siezed up badly...
