So, I have removed everything, put the new spring on, but, the spring looks like it is binding, or pinched because the bottom plate of the shock doesnt have that seat for the spring to sit in. This does not look correct. My thought is that whenever the shop originally installed the Daystar Kit, they just threw away the original.. My question is, do I really need it?

I got new ones, and when I tried the remove the old one.. holy cow, that thing was seized in there like no other, I had to airhammer the thing out, and that only took 3.5hrs! I cant get the correct press tool, because chrysler doesnt want to share their toys. Any suggestions before I tackle the driver side bushing?
