I'm thinking about adding 1.25" wheel spacers on my liberty with ome lift and 245-70R16. Anybody is running those. Any rubbing? Also, the goal of adding the spacers is to add some stability, especially with my set of winter wheels (225-75R16). I would like to hear your experience with wheel spacers. |

I have had the German Hoffman spacers (60mm per axle) on for over a year now, and they do add to stability. There is some rubbing, but only on full lock, and I've only heard it on the left side, not the right. |

I'm running 2" wheel spacers all the way around. I had some rubbing on the bottom piece of plastic on my bumper, so I trimmed it off. It only made noise in reverse, with the wheels turned but it scared my wife. Bumper looks better without that plastic lip anyway. Keep in mind, I am running a 2.5" lift with 225 75 16 Mickey Thompsons. Stability was GREATLY improved, now I just need to work on wet pavement traction. LOL |

Spider Trax 1.25" spacers, Stock Renegade rims (BS 5.5), OME Lift, ARB Front Bumper, Pinch Weld pounded back, 245-75-R16 BF Goodrich TA/KO......... No Rubbing, improved stability. However if I had it all to do over again I wouldn't buy the spacers, instead put that money towards new rims with 4"-4.5" BS. |
