The Frankinlift is a nice setup. From what I hear,it's only a 30 min install.

The setup I've seen installed came with the OME coils already mounted on the shock struts. Does the Premium II package come delivered like that? |

JL Rockies says he can do it in 30 or less Just ask him!, Then ask how many he's actually done! All Frankenlifts come preassembled, used to be with either Rancho shocks or OME shocks, now only OMEs. And yes it can be done in a back yard garage, err wait my garage is in the front yard but done quite a few in it, simple and easy but more like an hour not 30 minutes

I did my 1st lift in a backyard garage in about 3 hours but it was not a Frankie so I had to take the strut assemblies apart & put them back together. If a layman can do a Franky with a floor jack in about an hour.... |

My friend and I did mine in 30 mins. I was mostly support.... not sure why it would take two people any longer. |

Maybe because I take the time to check everything out underneath, and install bumpstops etc. I want to make sure when the person I put it on for rolls out the door there are no problems. Anyone can throw something on in a hurry and not care plus its BS anyways doing in 30 minutes, not a full lift from jacking it up removing the tires, etc. Done too many and calling BS on this one! |

even if it "takes 30 minutes" id think it should be 30 minutes maybe per corner.. to inspect and double check and such.. id rather take time and be methodical than to rush it.. |

It was on and at the alignment shop the next day. No problems in 60K+ miles of wheeling coast to coast in every terrain available. No bumpstops installed.... those extended bumpstops are for suckers. Seemed pretty simple to me but all I did was take wheels on and off and taked the batt and airbox in and out. I will admit that my friend is kind of a big deal; I can't even change the oil by myself. He is a Utahn and we are sorta special |

And to be honest, there's a tendency by many on here to make life far more complicated than it needs to be.... check out the CRD section if you want bold-faced proof! But I am more of a get out on the trails kinda-guy not so much a hater.

I asked our best tech here about this and after hearing "Jeeps suck" a few times he told me that under the same circumstances it would take him 30 mins.... 45 mins tops to install and he could not imagine why it would take any longer and this whole argument is silly. Then mentioned something else about Jeep owners that I half didn't catch and half don't want to post. |

ok so... i have about 450$ to spend on my jeep. cant justify spending the grand on frankenlift since my offroading is getting limited. but what is the best i can do for this price range? and should i add wheel spacers?

I still say bull crap, I'll pay 100 buck for some one to come and R&R mine in 30 minutes or less, just watch them screw up big time. Oh and if they can't do it in that time I get 200 bucks |
