Check with Boiler,he's an awesome fabricator.
Trailready rears might still exist.

And you have one of only 2 KJ rear bumpers ever sold by TrailReady - the line has been discontinued, and they threw away the designs...

there's more than 2 lol

TR did do away with their KJ line though

When I ordered my KJ rear it was the last one they made before disassembling the jig, they made 3 total with tail light guards and 4 or 5 more without

When I ordered my front TR bumper with pre-runner, it took some extra time to get it because they took some measurements of it for records purposes then sent it for powder, shipped one to Italy and then shipped mine

When Dan talked to the owner on the phone he made a comment about finding it funny that I managed to buy the last front and rear bumper they made for the KJs

Don't know if they took measurements for a KK line or what, but the way the owner talked, they really had no interest at all in making anything else for the Liberty, kj or kk ever :(

which kinda sucks, not only for bumpers, but TR makes rock rails for some vehicles too

About the only way I figure I could get TR rock rails is to take it to washington state for a week or so, which.. may end up happening ;)

As far as I've heard from people who are still on the lizard waiting list, it sounds like marty isn't making anymore once he's done making the few that have already paid and I think those are all front bumpers

boiler's rear bumper is friggin nice, I'd go dig his thread if I were you! It's about the same price range as the TR was

If i hadn't managed to snag the TR I woulda snatched up a boiler basher in a heartbeat

I don't know about aluminum bumpers though.... aluminum doesn't hold up well to vibrations long-term... Ask anyone who has had to replace an aluminum horse or car trailer after 3 or 4 years because cracks begin to form....

Unfortunately good sir, I do not have a Trail Ready bumper, this was a sighting of another rig with the TR. Yes, I was jealous.

I've seen the Rusty's gas tank skid in person, sits about 3"-4" lower then the Kilby gas tank skid.To bad Kilby is closing there doors on August 15th

departure angle is better on the kilby, rustys is pretty much square so you lose some clearance here and there

for the price of the rustys it was hard to come up with steel and come out even, can't imagine rustys is making much money on their tanks, with as many cuts as kilbys has with the same amount of steel, can't imagine kilby is making much either

tank skid is one of the easiest pieces to self fabricate if you have the means, and i couldn't justify doing it myself for the cost

if the kilby almost touches the tank at the lowest point of the tank, then the rustys is about 2.5" lower

they're both good tanks, there's probably 10 coats of touch up on mine

lol, i did crimp my tranny skid on a concrete step last year while curb crawling :(

couple months ago i swung a contract driving a flir through the county's right of way checking gas lines, after that i was servicing remote fiber junctions before i nailed my current contract with the state which pays by the mile ( ON PAVEMENT :P )

had i not carried a gas pole saw i'm sure my doors would have looked worse than james after those last two contracts
