255's are right on that borderline of wanting a regear, the saving grace of the 255's is generally they're P's and quite light
i run 255's prior, and currently running the same tires again, after wearing out a set of 245-75 E's in mastercraft m/t flavor, there's only 1/2" difference overall roll out height between what i have now, and the 245's i had, but the comparison was night and day
I actually like the 255 profiile more than the 245 profile and wish there was a larger variety of tires in 255 than there are because other than straight street tire, there's not a ton to choose from
in any case, i wouldn't foresee any ramifications and other than churning higher rpm's at say, 65-70mph, (70 on 3.73's with 255's is about 2150-2200 RPM ish) just guessing the 4.10 would put it at about 2400
your highway will go down, but not drastically, your cruise function on the highway will work much better especially with long hills
i would regar mine in a heartbeat just for the extra acceleration and crawl ratio, but.. with my combo, other than crawl ratio it performs about equally to one running 4.10s so I haven't bothered
Go for it, can't fathom that you'd regret it
